About Us

"Hi! I’m Anna, a founder of BYOBDrag. I’m a Mum. Who know exactly how it feels to have a whole week of classes, events planned, and to walk away drained. There are times that you want to be the ‘parent’ and times when you want to be seen as a whole person first, and that’s where the idea for BYOBDrag was born. I love making parents feel like they have had a guilt free morning, with their little one, and totally filling their cup to!

I'm the admin and management half of the business. With over 11 years of experience in event planning, through my career as a Fundraising Manager and time as a Scout Leader organising camps and adventures for other people’s children. With this experience, and managing our Social Media, I keep the BYOBDrag events organised and running smoothly.

On the day of the show I’m there to help you. Nap trapped? I’ll grab you some food! Need a wee and your baby wants to be held – I can hold the baby. The rest is up to you!

"Since becoming a parent, I got a new job that allows me the flexibility to work around my child when she is sent home sick from nursery…again! You have no idea what you can achieve at work whist dealing with a toddler that had picked up an ear infection, UTI and chicken pox. In the same week!"

"Heya! I'm Stu, one of the founders of BYOBDrag. I'm a tired but ecstatic father of three (one boy, two twin girls), proud Genderfluid individual, and, on the rare occasion I get some free time, a massive nerd. Being a working Father I found it difficult to find time to do the things I enjoy without feeling guilty for not putting my kids or work first, and I wasn't the only parent feeling that way. This is where the concept for BYOBDrag was made, to give you a chance to be you again, while still being a parent.

Between shows, I run the technical side of the business. Updating the website, managing products and discounts, designing and sorting assets, etc. I'm also constantly looking into new ways to improve our shows, whether that's the performance, the venue, or just little things that only a parent would think about.

As for the day of the show, I'm there to help set up equipment, get the goody bags out, and any other odd jobs that nee doing. After that... You'll have to read Jess's Bio."

"I managed to get consolidated hours with my full time job so I can dedicate a full weekday to spending time with my kids. In my line of work, you can't guarantee you'll be free on the weekends. Having a full 24 hours that I can spend purely with my kids is a blessing, albeit a tiring one."

"Hello Darlings! I'm Jessica Blaise, Lady Daddy to three kids (one boy, two twin girls... must be a coincidence...) Comedian, host, and, most importantly, a 'bloke' in a dress. Being a Drag Queen with young children presents some unique challenges, but my kids have been great with experiencing me as Lady Daddy. Nothing humbles me more than hearing my eldest giving his opinions on my makeup (believe me, he's brutal).

On the day of the show, you can expect nothing short of pure filth and adult humour. These shows are designed for the parents to be themselves, and I won't rob them of the experience. I will roast, I will flirt, I will make you feel like you're on a night out before you had to spend so much time worrying about milk and defecation.

In between shows you'll find me working on my act; coming up with new jokes, relatable experiences, and children's stories that are 100% not suitable for children.

"I've managed to hold all three of my children at the same time in full drag, 6 inch heels, and I did it without losing my wig, earrings, or balance. If I ever learn to juggle I'll be unstoppable!"
